JUSTCO is set to open a new shared workspace within the South-east Asian headquarters of gaming hardware firm Razer, marking its 19th such facility in Singapore, the firm announced in a statement on Wednesday.
Targeted to open in second quarter of 2021, the new space will measure 2,787 square metres. It is located near one-north’s key district precincts – Fusionopolis, Biopolis, Mediapolis, Ayer Rajah and JTC Launchpad. The area houses many tech, media and biomedical firms and startups.
It is being set up in response to the continued demand for flexible workspaces, following JustCo’s new spaces in OCBC Centre East and The Centrepoint, the company said.
These two locations respectively welcomed cosmetics giant L’Oreal and Tencent-backed Riot Games as their newest members recently.
The one-north location provides gaming hardware and consumer electronics companies an opportunity to be strategically near Razer, JustCo said. It is also targeting corporate members looking to decentralise their workforce or implement remote working.
Brandon Chia, vice-president and head of Singapore and Indonesia at JustCo, said: “In line with our mission to build a smart, tech-enabled future for offices, JustCo at one-north will further expand our focus on tech innovations, driving more value and success to our community.”
Patricia Liu, chief of staff at Razer, said that the hardware firm is “excited to welcome JustCo as a close neighbour”.
JustCo says it currently has more than 25,000 members. Besides Singapore, it also has five co-working spaces in Seoul, four in Bangkok, two in Sydney, and three each in Melbourne, Taipei, Shanghai and Jakarta.
